Dewy Beauty — Terms & Conditions Effective for ASMR Massage & In-Studio Makeup Services 1. Booking Fee / Deposit A $50 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments. • The booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, illness, change of mind, or external interruptions. • The fee secures your appointment time and covers preparation, administration, and lost opportunity costs. 2. Payment The remaining balance is due on the day of service. Accepted payment methods: • Cash (preferred) • Bank transfer (PayID available) • EFTPOS 3. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations (All Services) • Cancellations at any time result in forfeiture of the booking fee. • If paid in full and cancelled with more than 3 days’ notice, the balance (excluding the booking fee) will be refunded. Rescheduling • One reschedule is permitted as a courtesy, subject to availability. • Booking fees may be transferred to a new date within the following timeframes: • ASMR massage: within 2 months of the original appointment • Makeup: within 6 months of the original appointment • Any additional reschedules, or reschedules made with less than 3 days’ notice, will result in loss of the booking fee, and a new booking fee will be required. All cancellation and reschedule requests must be communicated via phone call or SMS. 4. Late Arrivals & No-Shows • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session to avoid overlap with other bookings. • Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time; full payment still applies. • Arrivals more than 20 minutes late without contact will be treated as a no-show, and the booking fee will be forfeited. 5. Client Suitability, Cancellations & Service Integrity My studio is a private sanctuary offering deeply nurturing, nervous-system-regulating experiences. • Consistency, respect for time, and mutual alignment are essential to maintain a safe, grounded, and sustainable environment. • I reserve the right to assess client suitability at any stage and may discontinue services if a client’s booking behaviour, communication, or consistency no longer aligns with my wellbeing, business sustainability, or the energetic safety of the studio. • Short-notice cancellations, repeated rescheduling, or pattern-based cancellations may result in forfeited sessions, membership changes, or service discontinuation. • Memberships may be paused, cancelled, or terminated without refund if booking commitments are not honoured. • I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at my discretion. These decisions are final and not open for discussion. 6. Health, Illness & Safety • If you are unwell or experiencing any contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment. • Dewy Beauty reserves the right to refuse service if symptoms of illness, cold/flu, infections, or scalp conditions (e.g., lice or open sores) are present. • Client illness does not exempt bookings from cancellation or rescheduling policies. • If I (Neeka) must cancel due to illness or emergency, your booking fee will be transferred in full to a new date or a full refund provided. 7. ASMR Massage — Specific Conditions • ASMR massage is a gentle, sensory-based experience, not a traditional or remedial massage. • Sessions are intuitively guided; specific tools or techniques are not guaranteed in every session. • For head-focused treatments, hair must be clean and completely dry. Services cannot be performed on wet, oily, or damp hair. • Please disclose any allergies or sensitivities in advance (e.g., oils, balms, textures). • ASMR massage services are available to female clients only, aged 16+. If gender is falsely confirmed, service will be refused without refund and authorities may be contacted. 8. Makeup — Specific Conditions • Appointments are for one look per person, with minor adjustments included. • Full re-dos are considered a new service and charged accordingly. • No touch-up kits are provided; clients should bring their own lip product for reapplication. • Product longevity cannot be guaranteed due to skin type, weather, perspiration, eyewear, or environmental factors. • Makeup services typically take 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the look. 9. Early / Late Booking Fees (Makeup Only) Appointments booked before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM incur a $50 per hour surcharge. 10. Studio Environment • All services are provided in a private home studio in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane. • Makeup services: Maximum of 2 people in attendance. Children under 10 are not permitted. • ASMR massage: No guests permitted. • No smoking inside or outside the premises. • Free street and driveway parking available. • Cats live in the home. Clients with allergies should bring appropriate medication. Noise Disclaimer (ASMR Massage): While every effort is made to maintain a peaceful environment, occasional internal or external noise may occur. If noise persists for more than 10 minutes, you may choose to continue or reschedule within 2 weeks. Refunds are not provided for environmental noise. 11. Additional Services • Additional services are subject to availability and must be confirmed in advance. • Full payment for additional services is required on the day of your appointment. 12. Damages & Conduct • Only Dewy Beauty staff may handle professional tools and equipment. • Clients are responsible for any damage caused. • Inappropriate behaviour or requests during ASMR massage will result in immediate session termination, no refund, permanent banning, and possible police involvement. 13. Photos & Social Media Photos taken during your appointment may be used on Dewy Beauty’s website or social media platforms. If you do not wish to be featured, please advise prior to your appointment. 14. COVID-19 / Government Restrictions If services are affected by government-imposed restrictions or lockdowns, your booking fee will be held as a credit for 3 months. After this period, a new booking fee will be required. 15. Agreement By booking an appointment and paying the booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions above. Trials are always recommended to have before any special occasion. This way you will know if you are happy with your makeup artist and the makeup artist is better prepared on your big day and it will take less time. A trial is recommended to have as soon as possible. You will then have a better idea of what colours you like, what coverage of foundation you prefer, how false eyelashes feel, if you have a sensitivity to the makeup, how long the makeup will last on your skin, how long curls will last in your hair etc. A trial takes all the guess work out for you and me and will allow for a more relaxed application on the day.

The more information about you, the better! Collect pictures of the look you would like, advise on the colour of your clothing and accessories, details of the flowers, the bridesmaid's dresses, the colour theme you are having/attending etc. Please provide adequate space in your home for your makeup service, this includes bench space, and floor space large enough to fit a chair, 2 people and a makeup case. It is also best to be as close to a window with natural light coming in as possible. If you are having hair done, a power point near by is also handy.

Leading up to your event, regular facials are ideal along with a good daily skincare routine. This includes cleansing, toning, moisturising and eye and lip cream/balm daily, exfoliating once a week and a facial mask once or twice a week. At the very least cleansing and moisturising daily and exfoliating weekly is a must. Only use professional skincare, anything else will likely damage your skin, not improve it. For any questions regarding a skin care routine or product recommendations, please contact us. Have your waxing completed at least one day prior to your special occasion. The night before gently exfoliate your face and on the day ensure your face is freshly cleansed and moisturized. It's important that your eyebrows are expertly shaped. If you are having a spray tan, it is recommended to have it 2 days prior to the event. Having your eyelashes tinted, especially if you have fair hair, is also highly recommended. Tip: Increase water intake, this will keep your skin hydrated and reduce flaking.

It is a good idea to have a lip gloss/lipstick with you as this is generally the makeup that wears off the quickest. If you have oily skin, blotting paper is also recommended. All though Neeka applies the best products for makeup longevity there is no guarantee how long your makeup will last. Factors such at skin condition and type, dryness/oiliness, sweating, environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, air conditioning, wind, how often you or someone else touches your face, wearing glasses/sunglasses, eating, drinking etc all affect how long your makeup will last. On average, foundation generally lasts 8 hours and eye makeup 12 hours. Lipstick usually wears off within a few hours. All brides receive a touch-up kit.

You are not alone, many women feel this way. Neeka takes care to listen to your wishes and to design a makeup that's perfect for you as an individual. Feel free to have some pictures of a look you would like. Please bare in mind a natural look is still a full face of makeup. If you are not used to wearing makeup, I would highly recommend a trial before your special occasion so you can get used to how you look with a professional makeup application and if you are happy to go ahead with that look for the day. ​

Yes, Dewy Beauty has a private home studio based in Eight Mile Plains, Qld. Address is given out once deposit has been paid. Due to the size of the studio, a maximum of 2 people can be at the studio at any one time. Please note there are no children under the age of 10 permitted in the studio. Strictly no smoking is permitted inside or outside the studio at any time. Free street parking is available. Please enter through the front door. Please note, there are cats living within the home, if you are allergic please notify Dewy Beauty prior to your arrival so they can be separated from the preparation area.
